What is the difference between the SD memory card and the miniSD/microSD memory cards?

Only the form factor, size, and number of pins and “with or without” of the write protect switch of the miniSD/microSD memory cards are different from the standard SD memory card. The logic and electronics of both the miniSD/microSD and the SD card are identical.
